Tucked behind the typical single storey façade of an eastern suburbs’ bungalow is the delightful two storey design of House 108. With extensive external timber cladding, large windows and strong connections to outdoor areas, House 108 feels more like a New Zealand cabin than an inner-city Adelaide house.

The heart of House 108 is centred around a tall void space, which opens up the centre of the home, and spills light through the bedrooms and living areas like filtered light through the treetops. This generous central volume with large south facing windows gives the house vitality during the year and the use of timber and scandi colours throughout add warmth and interest.

The variety of spaces designed for adults and children to retreat, play, gather and socialise means there is something for everyone in this refurbished family home.
